Rev. Kevin Fryrear serves the Lord at First Baptist, Chandler in the role as Associate Pastor in the areas of Worship, Music, and Pastoral Care.
Kevin and his lovely wife , Rosie, have 5 grown children. Christopher and his wife, Ashley, live in Cumming, GA. Melody and her husband, Donnie, reside in Dacula, GA. Stephen and his wife, Carleigh, live in San Antonio, TX. Melinda is student at ASU, and is a leader in Young Life, a high school ministry group. Their youngest, Amanda is a licensed esthetician and is planning to move to Georgia in 2010, to apprentice for her beautician’s license.
Kevin received his Bachelor’s degree in Church Music from Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, MO with a double minor in Spanish and Bible. Kevin earned his Master’s Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in Church Music, with an emphasis in Religious Education.
Kevin has been involved in Music Ministry since 1973. He spent several years “on the road” with gospel quartets. He, along with the love of his life, Rosie, have been serving the Lord together for over 32 years, and have served in Missouri, Illinois, Louisiana, North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, and Arizona (2 different times).
He enjoys horseback riding and fire arms. His greatest joy in life is to see someone have their life transformed by the life changing blood of Jesus Christ and become a child of God.
