New Building Update

FBC Chandler is building our second building! This new multi-purpose building has many classrooms plus an assembly area that will enable us to make disciples and share the gospel more effectively. The church overwhelmingly approved the work in December 2017. Construction has already started and we expect it to be completed Christmas 2018. Want to be part of it? Pray for the construction, and give to the building fund! Live Out Our Faith Banquet was on February 3.     … [Read more...]

Heart of Worship

Heart of Worship "How Blessed We Are" As we finish another year, it seems the natural thing to do is take inventory of our life. As I take inventory of my life this year I realize how blessed I am. How blessed am I to wake up each day, able to move and get around on my own. How blessed am I to look across the breakfast table at the beautiful woman I married almost 41 years ago (who still makes my heart beat faster every time I see her). How blessed am I to have five wonderful children and their spouses who love the Lord, and each other. How blessed am I that the Lord has added to our … [Read more...]

Parent Connection (January 14, 2018)

Today’s lesson…        Galatians 5 and Ephesians 4 Our society runs by an earning code of conduct. If you earn my respect, you’ll get it. If you earn a promotion, you’ll get it. If you earn forgiveness, you’ll get it. The churches in Galatia were no different. Remember, forgiveness through the grace of Jesus Christ was still new. Paul wanted them to understand that salvation came through forgiveness and grace from God. We can’t earn His forgiveness because we’ll never be good enough to earn it. But being saved and having a home in Heaven still doesn’t mean … [Read more...]

Pastor's Blog

We have never been the house with all the lights and a yard full of decorations. My thinking is that if it takes more than an hour to set up it is too much. I know, that sounds like a Scrooge comment, but neither Jerri nor I have ever enjoyed decorating the yard. On the other hand, it takes us several hours to set up and decorate the tree and several more hours to put out all the decorations we have inside the house. So back to the yard. Last year we decided to buy one of those inflatable decorations since they are easy to put up and take down and don’t need a lot of storage space. My … [Read more...]
